Runners Up for Top 5 of April to June

Here are the photos that didn't make the cut to my Top 5 of April to June post. Also, I won a 24x32 canvas sponsored by Hello Canvas from the link up! How awesome is that, right? I haven't decided yet if I want to use a family photo, a photo I took (Nathaniel, place, flowers, things, etc.) or one of our wedding photos.

"Strawberry Picking"
We were able to pick a gallon-worth of strawberries in less than 15 minutes! However, Nathaniel was more interested in checking out the bugs than actually berry picking. After this, he also insisted to wear his "shark boots" for two days in a row. It was sunny.

I often struggle keeping/sharing photos that are not up to par technically such as this picture: grainy, my son is not in focus, random bottle in the background. I am definitely my own worst critic but I'm trying to cut myself a little bit of slack. Because when I am always tough on myself, moments like in this picture go by unshared. And really, that's the real shame.

Nathaniel likes to put winding toy in between his teeth and let it go round and round. He looks silly but whatever keeps him entertained, right?

As a foodie, I look forward to the day my child(ren) can cook with me. I am slowly introducing Nathaniel to the kitchen although my OCD-self is still having trouble letting go. But this morning, I let him "help" me cook breakfast. Don't worry, he is only pretend cooking. The hot burner, which I am using, is on the opposite side and I kept a very close eye on him.
Nathaniel's first baseball game and he loved swinging his invisible baseball bat!

A tour of our local fire station.

Fourth day of our vacation

Nathaniel was getting used to this kind of life :)

This was Nathaniel's look for most of our vacation week. He loved the beach and every day since we have been back from vacation, he has been asking to "go to the beeeecht (beach) and play toys!" Also, what killer eyelashes, right? And he's not sleeping; he just didn't want me to take his picture. Typical.

He calls it "bubbles bath" and it is one of his favorite time of the day :)

Nathaniel ate more than he picked!

We watched Sesame Street Live: Elmo's Super Heroes and Nathaniel had a fantastic time. In the photo, he was waving goodbye to the characters.

Nathaniel knows the words to the song We are Young by Fun. I seriously think we have a future rockstar on our hands.

My husband says he looks like an angel in this photo especially because of the lighting. I couldn't agree more.

He looks so tiny on our king sized bed.

We celebrated Father's Day this year by playing one of Hubby's favorite sports to play so he was definitely happy to be spending his day like this. It was also Nathaniel's first time bowling. He loved throwing the ball, hitting the pins and he even saying, "I missed!" whenever there are pins left standing.

The boys on their way to skip rocks.

"Falling with Style"
Nathaniel was so excited that he decided to fly to Carrabbas instead of walking through the door for Father's Day dinner. Also, this was our second time to this restaurant and both times I was unimpressed :(
