Disney 2015

I brought my DSLR with me during our one day trip to Disney. I knew it was going to be heavy. And I knew I wasn't going to have very many opportunities to use it since it was just me with two kids. But I also knew I would regret it if I didn't! Yes, I brought the stroller but I wore Amelia in the carrier most of the time. Almost all of the attractions do not allow a stroller so I am pretty much 99% sure I will not be bringing it on our next visit (we didn't during our first family visit). I felt like I spent a good time just putting the stroller away and finding it afterwards (they move them to organize and make more room for other strollers). Also, instead of posting the iPhone videos I took one by one, I decided to just combine them all. I sou

Disney World 2015: Magic Kingdom

When we joined my sister and her family in Florida during their spring break vacation (read about it here , here and here ), I knew we had to go to Disney World. After all, it was just 1.5 hours away! We only went to Magic Kingdom but we still had a great time. It is Amelia's first trip to Walt Disney World and she really enjoyed the rides. She didn't want to get off the carousel (her first!) and absolutely loved the Dumbo and Magic Carpet ride. However, she could care less about meeting the characters! She definitely did not like Pluto and Goofy. Amelia has a love/hate relationship with dogs. Our visit was very laid back. I handed the map to Nathaniel and let him decide where to go and what to do. We were supposed to go back to the hotel around 3pm to rest our feet and go back for the evening fireworks and show. But instead, we stayed until 6pm because we kept stopping to watch parades and do other rides. We arrived at the park at 8am!
