Well Baby Visit (Four Months Old)

Nathaniel had his 4 month well baby visit and immunization shots this morning. So far, he is doing well compare to last time---no fever, no visible pain, and no whining! He was also prescribed three different ointments due to eczema and a self-contained type of chicken pox virus that I can't recall the name anymore. Other than that, he is healthy and we can start rice or oat cereal if we choose to! We will most likely give him oat cereal because rice cereal could cause constipation and Nathaniel already has an issue in that department (bowel movement every 4-5 days). But as excited as I am to start feeding him solids, we will probably wait until he is six months old. Anyway, here are his stats :) Weight: 16.5 lbs Height: 25 3/4 in Head Circumference: 42 1/2 cm At the doctor's office this morning. He was such a happy baby and flirting with the nurses and his pediatrician. He definitely didn't know what was coming!

Four Months Old!

Our little one is four months old today! Today has been a pretty emotional day especially for me :( On top of all my worries, we dropped off my grandma early this morning at the airport so she could spend the rest of her vacation in Indiana. And seeing all my family through Skype right before they head out for dinner made me really, really miss "home". I was definitely fighting back the tears. And I know I'll be seeing all of them in a couple weeks but knowing my husband won't be joining us makes it not a comforting fact after all.

When one door closes...

...another door opens. But did you ever notice how "they" never said when that other door is supposed to open? *sigh* I am trying to stay positive and trust that He has something better planned for us but when you're literally stretching every single resources just to make ends meet, it is starting to become very difficult. Yes, I realize that we are still lucky compare to most in the sense that because of my husband's job, we never have to worry about loosing our home, living without water or electricity, and God forbid we get sick or get in an accident, we at least have good health insurance to keep us from owing tons of money from hospital bills. But regardless of all those great blessings, this little heart of mine is starting to fill up with anger... The per diem RN job that I mentioned last January fell through last month. I never even got to start the job. The paperwork process took long, they apparently didn't hear me say my ACLS certi

Getting to know Mr. & Mrs.

Matthew & Calilung (my mother's maiden name) How long have you been together? 7 years & 3 months; married for a year & 10 1/2 months of those :)   Homecoming 2003 How long did you know each other before you started dating? Hubby's sister is a good friend of mine since 2000 so I would see/talk to him once in a while. It was not, however, until December 2002 when we really started talking. Who asked who out? Hubby asked me both to go out on a date and a month later to see each other exclusively. Did you go to the same school? Yes; high school & college Are you from the same home town? No; Hubby was born in Virginia, grew up in Indiana and I was born in the Philippines, moved to Indiana in 2000. Who is the smartest? Me! :) Nah... we were just talking about this the other day. I'm book smart; Hubby is "street" smart. Although, he is a great student as well---just gets bored easily. Who maj
