Swing

Before Hubby left almost two months ago, he tried to teach Nathaniel how to swing on his own. Unfortunately, he just couldn't get. Well if you have children, then you know that they will eventually do/get it when they are good and ready (crawling, walking, potty training, etc). Nathaniel told me a couple days ago that he now knows how to swing on his own, thanks to lots of practice during school recess. He couldn't wait to show me. He also asked me to take a few photos to show his Daddy so he can be proud, too. I also tried to take a photo of them together but Amelia wasn't having any of it. She did not like sitting on the grass! She would much rather use her new learned skill of walking and explore the playground area.

Tee Ball

Nathaniel is doing tee ball this spring and he had his first game today. He is doing really well and remembers all the pointers Daddy taught him. They don't keep track of the score so don't ask me who won! Basically, they are just teaching them the fundamentals of baseball and what it means to work with a team. I'm just happy Nathaniel is enjoying himself and is giving it his best. We always tell him that he doesn't have to best. He doesn't always have to be the winner. As long as he gives it all he has, that's all that matters to us. Because the moment you give up is the moment you lose.
