Fire Station

Yesterday, Nathaniel and I went to our local fire station with a group of Moms and kids. They gave us a tour of the station and taught the kids a little bit about fire safety. They were able to play in and "drive" the fire truck. And in the end, the children each took their turn turning on the big hose and then cooled down in the water. Nathaniel was shy to do some of the things (such as pick up the heavy ax, drive the truck, give the fireman in costume a high five) but he had no problem wearing the hat or playing in the water. He's my hat-wearin' water-baby, for sure.

  1. These are great photos!! Isn't it most kids' dream to play with the fire truck and fire hose?! I love it!
